Rebecca Bextel has lived in Wyoming for more than twenty years, raising four daughters with her husband Jonathan and running small businesses alongside him.
She got into politics because something local went wrong — filing public records requests, challenging wasteful spending, and asking officials to account for decisions they would rather not have explained. She has since served as a Republican precinct and state committeewoman and as an alternate delegate to the Republican National Convention in 2020 and 2024.
